Costumes created a fantasy dreamscape of biblical characters. Using color and sparkle to define rich and poor. This opera is about how we as people do what we can to survive and with a little belief things can go our way.  you need to feel the wonder and exuberance of these kings compared to the villagers and Amahl.  how can one child change so many minds?
